In December 2010, Alpha Packaging acquired Progressive Plastics in Cleveland, OH. Progressive’s product lines are very complementary to the plastic bottles and jars Alpha already manufactured, and its stock lines enable Alpha to serve several new markets. For example, Alpha’s Condiment Bottle Sample Pack includes a 9-oz. Aspen Oblong, a 9-oz. Clark Oblong, and a 12-oz. Clark Oblong. All three bottles feature a 38-400 neck finish, and are made from a 23.8-gram preform. While the bottles were designed for food products, they are also ideal for liquid soaps, hand sanitizers, laundry products and personal care products such as hair gels and aloe.
